i dont think choppa will be posting too much for awhile. after doing a small injury to himself in the early hours this morning with me and grandson he aggravated the injury this afternoon when pushing the boat back into its normal resting space and he himself is now resting at caboolture private hospital
his back resembles quasi modo and it wasnt a pleasant trip back to the ramp this morning not counting the trip to the hospital. at least he has to do as his told at the moment. his got no choice he's in traction

Thanks to Col, Scotty(nofrills), and all those who made the effort, in good but not the best weather, to attend.
The cookup Sat night was a bloody fine feast- Thanks to Richard,Col and Baz.(hope i didn't leave anyone out).
Some of the Crabs were bloody huge and nice and full, while the prawns were sweet.
Scotty(nofrills) and i stayed up till monday waiting for our Rocky road but had to eat Prawns and crab instead. Hard life. Bit of a wet night but better than sitting here at work on the computer.
Good to put faces to names. I'm pretty sure all had a good time. Hope all is ok with the noshows.
Cheers Scott

Great weekend :D - great bunch of people ;D - great campsite::) - great weather :o (could have been worse)
Blake & I really enjoyed the weekend and giving Blake's 'Crazy' a good workout. Shame he had to head back to the mainland on Saturday to chase the girls. He just hasn't got his priorities in order yet.
Thanks to Col and Scotty and others for organising the get together.
I noticed in the pics Col and Bazza drinking tea. Never seen two blokes on a camp drink so much tea.
Thanks all
Richard

Thanks to all involed in this one
Jack and i had a great time, he wasnt to sure what he had hooked on to to start with a mullet or a flathead lol
he asked me later on if we should ring Baz to see if he was ok but insured him he was ok
was great to catch up with a few people i havent seen for a while and to meet some new people for a few quite beers and a few laughs
the food from the camp oven would of made a camp oven cook blush but the roky road would have topped it off nicely
let me know when you do it agian as jacks allways keen for a fight

a quick post to convey all the thanks to the ""get well"" brigade,,,,
after encountering a bit of a ""sprain"" on the saturday night with chopjr and his dad on board,,, it was indeed a gingerly trip back to the ramp in the wee hrs of sunday morning,,, only to aggravate the bloody thing moving the boat and it left me in so much pain i couldn't move,,,,
the outcome,,, 2 fractured ribs,,,,,,, i kid ya not,,, the backs fine but somehow (probably the bashing around with the earlier attempt of getting up there;D ) i managed to place a nice split in the bottom rib bones and crikey it still hurts a bit when twisting n turning,,,,
the event going by pics and reports was a brilliant success,,,, and col,,,scotty and crew deserve a medal,,, albeit i was late arriving saturday,, we did try earlier but the wind coming down the passage placed more water in my tinny by swell breaking over the bow than what it was worth,,,,,
and the wind hasn't slowed down much since the weekend;D ;D ;D
it was great to see a real good turn out,,,, i know that ronnie is still kicking herself (and her boat),,,, and is probably going to announce soon that she's got a new 1,,,,,,,
