Mate, you can probably make them yourself, use some trial and error on mould material etc.....mate has been making chrome slugs for years using a 2 part epoxy for the mould and melted lead for the slug. Use an existing head as the template (remember to coat it with a release agent first though). Make your mould in two parts that can be fitted together when moulding and incorporate a pouring lip.

I did a small thread in the "tackle" section where we are obviously making Jigheads for the bay where your 1oz up would be for offshore, is that right?http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/showthread.php?t=125841
Gamakatsu is my choice of hook to use in the hard wire, at a guess you would use a 7/0 size.

DR, once again i thank you for your help.....
Scalem, yes it will be mostly off shore and our experiances have showed us that only the Gamakatsu hooks are the ones that dont fail. Had a read of the thread, good work. Exactly what we want.
Is there a retail/local guy we can get the moulds from ?
Cheers

Joe,
If you go to the link for http://www.do-itmolds.com/, click on "find a dealer" and your questions are answered.. If you call the distributor and quote the number of mold you are interested in, they will tell you stock availability and how to obtain. Suggest the Shad Head Jig SHB-3-L or Spearhead Jig JSP-3-L might be a start. :D
