Furuno 7000 seriers Sounder combo's

has any body had condensation issues with this modle sounder.
had service tech say that its normal to have condensation inside the screen!!
I think that that means it has a problem with water proofing, IE: seals buggered.
any comments??

A couple of years back had the same problem with my koden & a month later the main curcuit board was corroded up !!!!!

I reckon that as well. Any form of moisture in there would not be too good for the circuit.

Take it in and get a silica bag put in it.... that should sort it out
