Yeah mate - they are all crap:). My 95 has 245,000 and runs like a new one (literally is as quiet like my 2002 model one). Original everything in the drivetrain. New radiator core at 215,000 new 100 amp alternator at 235,000 and its about to get a new bearing on the air conditioning compressor....and thats it.

....off as for 94 model, my brother has the 94 fuel injected 3.9 manual (95 they went to the BMW split sided dash where passenger can control their own heat/cool etc). Its done 260,000 and has just had the air conditioning compressor done...and THATS IT! Nothing else - oh sorry...the in tank fuel pump replaced with a holden one. My 95 is an auto (ZF of course) and my 02 is a manual with 110,000 on the clock - all these are V8s and my 2 are on dual fuel.

...its all the bull thats spead around that causes the low prices...I love it because I will allways be able to buy them second hand at the right price. For example my 95 - the motor and tranny etc will do 400,000 no problems. Its compression is 98% of factory and even on each pot. But the rear middle seat does not have a lap sash belt, nor headrest and thats important to me because I have 3 kids. If I get my wife a 03 say to replace it, you can get a HSE (for arguments sake) with 70,000 bitumen miles on it (V8 Auto) for $35,000 - stick on LPG and its a bloody bargain compared to a new car.
Cheers
PS. These trucks are built like brick shitters - just have a look underneath and then go look at other brands..

Go for it......low miles and bullet proof mechanicals. That's under 12,000km a year which today is below average. As long as the cosmetics(seats/interior/bodywork) reflect a well cared for car I'd say you couldn't go wrong
