Hey Matt
What type of rig is the Xtreme? Centre Console, Cuddy Cab etc?
Maybe attach some photos - might make it easier for others to comment?

Hi,
I have a 5 metre centre console and I am fighting to not put a cover on the boat as Think it restricts fishing space dramatically. The one below is the only one I would consider and was in the November 2007 Modern Fishing Mag.
Hope This works and helps in your decision
Nathan.

Matt
PM your email address and i will sent you an article i have on a bimini design that was one of the best i have seen. Very practical design and minimal "obstructions" for fishing...
Nice Xtreme by the way.

If possible I highly recommend making it so it folds back to lie on the rear gunwhale when not in use rather than folding to sit in front of the console.
Then it's not in the way for fishing out the back and doesn't restrict access to the front casting deck when it's stowed away.
This way it's down for serious casting sessions without being in the way at all, and up for those trips with the family when a bit of shade is worth a million bucks!
