Hi All,
Went out to Moogerah on saturday morning for a flick. The dam's water colour is good been a tan colour as to a brown not long a go. The water is right up into the timber and there is good depth. Fished for around 3 hours with not a bump in sight. I didn,t troll around so I don't know if it would have made any difference. I left there mid morning and went to Maroon and ended up with 20+ bass on jackall's . I think it's going to take a few months to get back to life I will keep you updated.
Cheers
Jesper

P.S lots of skiers are back.

Hi Guys

I put in 4 hours at Maroon yesterday(Sunday 17/2/08) I tried trolling lots of lures and casting soft plastics. I did not have Jackalls with me - but I tried G-Vibes.

Saw some Ausfishers out there catching a few. In fact everybody seemed to catch fish except me!

Lots of horrible weeds around the ramp to wade through which, as it dies, gives the water a pondy taste; this goes through to the fish which taste just as horrible.

Gave up and went home to watch the cricket.

Saw you guys in the canoe. Beats me how you kept it the right way up. Remember thinking that I hoped you could all swim :o
