Gday,

I'm heading down to here for work for a month and was wondering if I should take the light gear (2-4kg), and what is on offer to catch.

Thanks,

Wags

Only really a couple of impoundments ..... though highly regarded as top bass spots ( Lake St Clair & Glenbawn)

Wags .... your gear is fine!

Grab some Jackall TN50/60s/ Mask Vibes .... Spinnerbaits ( Ausspin , Smack , Nitro)
& Some Berkley 3 & 4" bass minnows (SPs) ..... & matching jig heads in a couple of weights ...... should see you onto some fish!

Wags, There is a little fishing shop in Aberdeen (nearest town to Glenbawn) pop in and see Rion the owner and he will be more than helpfull in letting you know what is working on both the Yellas and the bass, he stocks a lot of locally made gear too and is very reasonably priced.
