Hi All
Have just come back from noosa this week. The fishing was quite poor overall, as the swell was huge and therefore the beaches and rocks were somewhat unfishable. However we did try the river mouth one morning with good results. We got there reasonably early, and fished the turn of high tide, we were drifting whitebait in the current in the channel. after about 30 minutes i got slammed by my biggest flatty, it went 60 cm and 3 lb. we then hit a run of bream and ended up with 7, all a reasonable size. two of us were fishing.
There were a few other people there aswell, one guy caught 2 small trevs.
We tried the next morning around the same tide, but could not get a bite strangely. Thats fishing i guess.
sorry no pics, are on a camera which cannot be transferred just yet.
Cheers
Owen
