With the trailer rusting away and the mud wasps hiding the boat, rain hail or cyclones it was time to feel the waves under the keel:'(
Headed to the Sth Bay, for what ever could be found.:-/
Nothing that resembled anything that moved fast, so some quite drifts, resulted in some nice sand lizards.
Wx was great uptill 7am from then on it rained till 10.30am, even had the bilge going to drain the boat;D
Very little boat traffice, and very little of anything else:'(

Pretty good effort coming up with some nice fish,There is certainly a bit of fresh around now and more rain to come.If it keeps going like this I'll be chasing yellowbelly around the wharves ;D . When everyone is tucked and hideing from the wheather ,it just makes it sweeter to pop out and score a few nice fish,Cheers

Seems to vindicate my decision to stick to the estuaries at the moment! If you're struggling to put together a feed in the bay, times are tough!

Take Care T

PS: did you misplace my number or should i resend it??? ;)

Thanks Webby - rain hail or shine I've got to get out somewhere tomorrow. My hands are starting to shake and I've got this twitch that won't go away. Haven't been out since last Thursday!!!!
Cheers Freeeedom

Good effort to get a feed, but as seasoned a fisho as you Webby, you must have appreciated the glassy conditions in that part of the bay instead of the pounding normally associated with chasing speedsters, I can almost hear your red rocket thanking you for the holiday too, so it aint all bad;)

Good to see you're getting in some weather acclimatisation for Tassie.

Having said that it's been perfect down here.;D

Havent forgot you T.
Wasnt much to smile about Charlie except a few lizards, but they are nr 1 on my list of best tasting fish.
We all may have to get used to this wet weather, with the forecast for Feb, predicting rain rain and more rain.
Ah Brett, dont mind the rain mate, just the ice mixed in with the stuff Tassie gets,
anyway if the Huts warm and the Bundy's open, what more do you want, oh yes some fresh cooked crays to wash the bundy down.
