headed to mud but got to the river

hi all took the boat out this morning launched from shorncliffe with a plan to head to mud but arrived at the shipping channel to about metre waves the decision was made to head to the rock wall instead for a fish to see if the wind would settle after the turn of the tide but if anything it got a bit stronger fished the mouth of the river for 1 undersized snapper (not allowed to call them squire now) and 1 grinner headed in about 9 am good ride back with the breeze and the waves all in all was a pretty humdrum morning but the new boat handled the conditions well and glad i was in it and not my old 1 at least this is a dry boat

That seem to be the way of evolution, the older you get the drier the boat you buy...
it looks crap here at toorbul atm so no fishy tomorow i think.
