Went up the Passage yesterday with Wife, Daughter & Niece (we call her extra child). Not too busy at 6am & spent the next hour cast netting live bait. Got Mullet, Herring & only one Gar (Jacks love erm). Went to my spot & was nice & quiet for about 2 hours then it started. Dad can we get an Ice-cream, can we go for a swim. Put up with this for about 1/2 hour then i gave in. Was a nice day & got some good fish for a feed. Peter.

PaulGday paul, all over by 930am. I could see heaps of boats running around but it was nice & quiet where i was, apart from the noise in my boat (wife, daughter & extra child). Also missed about 1,000,000 bream. Using whole herring . Was only getting 2 small bites & bait gone, Peter.

The passage was ridiculous on Sunday, it was like a slalom course between the 000's of crab pots and then the amount of boat traffic.
We pulled up near the mouth of pacific harbour for a bit of a session on squire around 10.30-midday. We got about 4 each, half of which were keepers biggest going 39cm.
Nice looking feed BTW, we had a pretty good weekend as well.

Great work, love to know how you did it. Not the fish, but in at 6am and 2 whole hours before the whinging.
Hats off on all accounts, and great to see families out and about and catching fish.
