Decided enough time wasted already so i should get more organised to put more effort into the fish went to my spot around 10pm tide was rushing hard no wind so the conditions looked good, landed the first fish about 1 hour into it he measured 55cm and was a prime conditioned fish few pics and off he went, next cast after that hooked up solid again and was trying to pull him out of the structure but he ended up winning the battle, about and hour after that hooked another fish that ended up being another jack that measured 45cm that was released also .

Nice healthy jack mate. Soaking baits or pingin plastics? If its too windy for the bay tomorrow I might have to have a look at finding a few devils

Good work! These kind of reports keep me motivated.
Only a week and a bit before I get my boat - then I'm a huntin' jacks! It's been fun with the bream and lizards but it's time for the real thing again.
Well done mate.

Thats a solid fish at 55, well done.
Must be sunny coast again, eh? Ive got no jacks on the goldy since the flood, and Ive done a few trips looking for em. Livies are scarce too.

Thats a good looking jack! What size line and leader did you use with the SP's?
Cheers, Mick.

they were caught on 10 pound braid and 20 pound leader theres a big snag they run to at this spot, so when hooked you really need to pull them in hard, other wise i usually use 12-16 pound leader.
