Coomera R. very slow

I fished the upper Coomera River Saturday night, it was very hard work getting live bait, took about an hour to get a dozen or so. Fishing was very slow, just a few pesky little bream about. I think it'll be a while before it recovers, time to hit the bay or river mouths.
The rain has been great, but it's stuffed the estuary fishing for a bit, I think. Give it a miss.
