Ordered a Scotty downrigger + free bomb from Cabelas a few days ago.

Just checked tracking and got this:

WTF?????

Federal Customs working for you and the Dole (rolls eyes) I feel soooo much safer now! Just image if it had got delivered and my daughter opened the package!

Yeah thats customs, It wont be there long, I bought a down rigger from cabalas and tracking said it went through customs but it arrived pretty quickly to honest.

Basically anything from Sydney should take 4 days Max, thats if a reputable transport company is being used. so you should see it very soon

What was the deal worth through Cabelas, shipping costs etc ?

Nice to get the bomb thrown in, they cost anything from $30 to $50 over here !

Cabelas charge 40% of the cost for shipping downriggers etc. Not bad when you consider the bomb being included. Still heaps cheaper than home. Someone is ripping us off very badly

Cragie, total to my door in OZ dollars was $220 I am pretty sure, I got in just before we lost a couple of cents in the dollar though.

Keystone Cops involvement was a freeby...... with hope.

It's a right bargain IMO.
