I heard part of a news story this morning on 4BH, at 6.30am. The only part i heard was about the proposed green areas being the most productive areas for both commercial and rec fishers.
I listened again at 7.00am but they did not repeat the story.
Did anyone else hear it? I called into a newsagent and bought the CM but there was nothing in it.
Cheers,

G'day!
I did not hear that but this afternoon on the drive program on 4BC, host John Miller spoke to the opposition spokesperson on these matters. She (Mrs Rosemary Menkens, MLA) said the same thing as the news you heard that the 15% was the most productive areas and that the EPA should leave it to the DPI to look after fishing.
Rosemary said she had been out on the bay this morning with a professional fisherman and a recreational fisherman and had se the areas. She said polution dredging and development were the big hazards and these were the EPA responsibility not fishing.
John then took calls from listeners and professional and rec fishermen called in. One guy from Stradbroke who did notsound like a fisherman said the Bay had to be protected but John did not give him much time.
You can drop a note to John Miller at drive@4bc.com.au

The Media Release is on her website: http://qldcoalition.org.au/news/Article.aspx?ID=1909
