I thought I'd post a few photos of some fish caught over the break up at Townsville and the Whitsundays since the reports may be few and far between over the next week or so due to the weather.
We spent five days at Townsville and it was our first time up there. The weather was close to perfect for the whole time we were there with glassouts lasting until about 1pm each day until the afternoon seabreeze kicked in. We were able to travel 45km from Magnetic in a 4.85m seajay no worries. The weather was great but the fishing was slow although we still managed a feed.
Back in the Whitsundays and the golden trevally and trout were caught on plastics in around the islands. All in all was good fun and the weather was more than kind.
The quality of the photos may not be too good, they were taken with my phone.
