Rocky River Fishing???

I was just wondering if anyone can offer any information about the rocky river near tenterfield or drake nsw, I have been lucky enough to have the chance to fish now a mate has bought a place down there on the water good holes he tells me I havnt been ther yet so any info on what to fish for and with what

gday mate i live in tenterfield and have fished the rocky river for years, you can catch plenty of eels and eel tailed catfish, im the president of our local fishing and restocking club and we have stocked eastern cod into the river BUT..... A WORD OF WARNING it is ILLEGAL to catch , keep, attempt to catch eastern cod and fines are up to 200,000 dollars and even jail. if you accidently catch one take aquick piccy and release it at quickly as possible. if you need any info or help pm me and ill be glad to help. cheers bdowdy..brett
