because ive been working all week i havent had the chance to go fishing. for those of you who know me know thats like a record opon records for me!
put the boat in at my home river (the tweed) and went and caught some good whiting on poppers in the first 30min of hitting the water. biggest whiting was 34cm which was caugth on a bubble pop 35 nd the other caught on the well known rebel pop r lures.
around 9 i hit the racks and with the water being like chocolate i used a 10lb leader. caugth 6 nice bream in the racks aswell as 2 flatties around 40cm in the first hour. with the tide running out i hit my favourite which is only about 50m of bank. got 2 fish 30cm each of this rack before getting blown away by a monster bream that still pulled line of my 2000 sol with a completly locked drag!
i ended up goin out near the mouth for the first of the run in tide and was smoked by a really big cod.
went up to cobaki and had a huge hit on a lucked craft bevvy shad while fishin for jack but that was it.
while waiting for my dad to get to the boat ramp i had 1 last flick along a bank with heps of cicarders. got 2 more bream on a daiwa cicarda wake bait. i grabbed my other rod with my jackle chubbie on and caugth a kilo or so blackfish eat it of the surface!
started at 8am and finished by 1pm.

Man you nail it down the tweed...

I've got a list of all the spots you're talking about in your reports to have a look at when i'm down there in 34 hours time.

Very well done you always seem to get a wide and varied catch down there. We cant get a break from the wind and rain up here on the sunny coast and they reckon its here until at least monday when i have to go back to work, always the way :( . Keep up the good work

if any of you know tweed will know that when it get the slightest bit windy fingle stretch just get blown up straight away.
seriously though the chop down fingle was as big and bigger then the wake made by the big riviera boats on the gold coast!
there were a few people in tinnies who couldnt handle the chop.
