Me and my brother fished Coomera river and landed 5 Jacks between us, all on poppers. I was useing a 'Rapala Skitter pop', and he was useing a River2Sea bubble pop 65. By catch was 2 Trevally and about 10 bream. All fish were caught on poppers excepy one bream I got on a SX40.

No pictures sorry as my brother thought he left his camera at home. Size was from 46-78cms.

OK OK I give up, size was from about 20-37cms;D

Have heard one member on here suggest Jacks in open water don't fight as hard as Jacks next to snags. We got all ours off a rock wall and I have to agree, they seem to cruise, and if they see a bust off point then they hit the gas!:o (you like that one Hayden)

i agree

a 30cm jack near a snag will be more of a fight then a 60cm jack in open water

i fish the coomera alot for jacks and this always happens
