Like all you blokes, and ladies, Im over this weather. I know we need the rain, just not when Im on holidays, or it can rain, thats cool, just stop blowing so flippin hard.
Had a peek at SeaBreeze last night and thought I saw a little window in the wind for this morning, so a quick trip up to Donnybrook seemed to be in order.
Threw in the plastics flick stick and some pots, dropped in at the ramp bout 5 this morning and headed north, figureing the lizards might be the best option for a feed considering the conditions.
Turned out to be not to bad, wind mainly held off and I only got rained on twice, plus put a couple of fish in the esky for tea tonight.
Tried the Squidgy Pros for the first time, Poddy coloration, these things are weapons, looking forward to another trip when conditions are a little more friendly to really put them thru their paces.
Funny old day, caught a few fish, was overhauled on the water by Fisheries (good to see em out and about), towed some poor bugger back to Lime Pocket after he broke down, boy was his missus giveing it to him, and then to finish there was a bloke from DPI measureing your catch at the ramp as part of the fin fish review. Sure beat watching the cricket.
