Hi mates,
Do you guys know about Marlin Brothers reels ? I've heard they sell only on e-bay, but do you know if their reels are any good ???

I heard of them.
I've never seen one.
Never used one.
People won't pass comment until they've seen one, used one and near killed one IMO.

I am pretty sure, they are made by MAXEL.
MAXEL is the best overhead alloy manufacturer in China,
The ebay prices are almost as cheap as the factory price.
There is 4 main contractors for that reel type in China, 3 are rubbish, 1 is the best of the 4 (Maxel)

They are the only one that makes everything up to 130SW reels.
If the body shape is not eactly the same as the MAXEL ones, then YES they are rubbish, the 2 speed mech will stick, the others use cr#p drag materials etc.
