Went for a little creek session this afternoon in what turned out to be quite interesting. No real big fish but certainly plenty of action.
First cast I got a baby Jack at about 20cm on a squidgie flick bait.....Still a pretty looking fella.....I worked the area over for a while then moved further up the creek.
Well this is where I found the Cod army...;D ....I got cod after cod and ended up landing 5 cod on gulp shrimps and squidgie 110 evil minnow flick baits.
Some were of an ok size and some were small tackers.
I also caught one reasonable size cod that coughed up a crab he had just eaten.
Took a pic of it also.....They are greedy pigs those cod.
Later in the evening I moved back to where I had landed the small Jack earlier and landed another two baby jacks at around 25cm a piece.
Also had a hit by an unknow culprit that jumped (silver in colour) and bit through my 10lb leader....:-/ .....Thought possibly a tarpon with plastic down deep...?????

After that I got rained on....VERY HEAVILY.....:(

Took some pics....nothing big but a fun arvo.

Cheers
Pete

Yeah Ben,
The worm hooks work well.....You can rig them unweighted and pretty much snag proof using them.
