Hit the rockwalls at 5am this morning and fished till 8am with mullet strip. Targeting grunter and Salmon but...............NE winds wrecking things for me again until 6am when the rod bent over. I struck hard and then the show began, Tail-dancing a few times and constant runs kept me busy for 5 minutes. Eventually landed my personal best Barra at 86cm. A beautiful salty. My mate grabbed the camera and got a quick shot in before letting him go back to where he came from. Only other fish I caught was a small shark. Enjoy the pic. Hopefully he will remember me and tell his mates because come the 1st Feb I would like to repeat the whole thing agaion

happy fishing
