baitcast combo for cod??

looking at lashing out and purchasing a bait caster combo for casting spinnerbaits - chasing cod and y/belly,
does anyone have any thoughts on the loomis mossyback and spinnerbait serries rods? or the pfleuger summit reels?

ive got a mossyback spin rod thats bloody nice i guess the casters would be the same. ive done a bit of cod fishing around texas and bonsaw most of the fish there can be caught with bass gear i use 3 combos depending on lures and type of fishing

large diving lures trolling GL2 6' 12-20 lb daiwa zillion 30lb pe

large surface lures hiking the banks GL3 3-6kg 5'4" daiwa sol 20lb fins

spinerbaits soft plastics 'yellas' forclite 6' 8-14 lb daiwa pixy 10lb fins
