First Jack and its from a Yak:D

Just started my holidays and have decided to take up Kayaking for inshore stuff and leave the boat for the offshore scene, so here's my fitout and the other pickie is my first catch from the Yak.

I was targetting my first Jack so I was not in the mood for playing fair as I was after a fish for dinner and have heard all about the dirty fights of the Jacks.
My 85mm Lure was attached to 40lb line on my TSS4;D
I picked a nice little estuary on the north end of the GC and trolled close to the edge. The Jack hit hard but the fight was short and was only prolonged by me trying to figure out what I do with myself while pulling aboard an angry Jack.
I need to figure that out a bit better before I chase pelagics in that thing!

Jack was 45cm and 1kg Cleaned.

Well done BB. You are gonna have to work out where angry fish go.....maybe a net?

Thanks guys.
My daughter in Yak#2 had just got me to play AC/DC on my geeky toy (my Blackberry) as we were paddling along so it was a pity that "the Jack" was not playing but hey everything can't fall into place..
The Jacks in the oven as we type, garlic & onion in its gut, salt & a splash of white then wrapped in alfoil and into the oven, just checked and aint ready yet. mmmm

I remember that song.....Im old acdc fan from way back. I used to see em live before they were famous.

i dont think you want the blackberry on the yak tho, theyre not waterproof.
