Hi Pat,

I've found Moreton to have her own mystery and I'm still trying to work it out.

The other day when we were out there was heaps of structure holding bait. I guess the trick is to find fish that are actively feeding. According to outsider skip the current is still running pretty hard in the deeper areas so work it out, fish an area where you can get a line down. We drifted all day, while floating whole pillies on snooded 5/0's on a metre of 10kg leader to swivel under a 2 ball and letting out heaps of line. And I was getting monstered, but we still caught some nice fish. Plastics were firing too...

My one piece of advice is to fish as light as you dare.

Don't be afraid to do shorter drifts to drop on the little shows around the lumps and the bumps where there is scattered bait on broken ground and remember there is a 1.2 klm no fish zone around Henderson's Rock if you get up that far
