softs from solids

hey guys, i have just recently got back into fishing after a large hiatus (and moving from the uk to aus) and i have never fished with soft plastic lures (gulp, squidgies and the like) is there much technique difference between them and hard plastic lures (which i have a bit of experiance with from the uk) also which ones would you recommend from the seemingly unending different types

as i am now not only fishing different waters for different fish i am using diferent baits too so any advice would be welcome

This is a subject covered almost weekly if you go to the searchbar up the top and type in soft plastics there is a heap of info there to mull over then maybe yoou might want to ask some more specific questions mate ,but there is a mountain of info in there ...matt
