Soft plastics

I'm new to the whole soft plastic thing, i've only caught a pike on a yabby soft plastic..Does anyone have any pointers to what plastics work best... i know colours change from area to area..im just wondering if anyone has come along a plastic that is affective in most areas

This plastic is the best in the world. It will catch everything from great white sharks, to guppys. ;D

I've found it's good to carry some Snapbacks as a backup, they're indestructible -- great if pickers are biting the tails off your other plastics.
