Nice Mac Tuna mate, he looks like a good size, what did he measure/weigh?
What size slug did you get them on?
As far as being a 'good feed' goes??? Maybe for the dog :P ::)

Well done ,they're high on fun. I target them on similar size outfits using slugs between 20- 40g. Cos you cant eat them make it fun to beat them.8-)

Anyone who says Mack Tuna tastes bad hasn't eaten it! Tastes similar to lamb when grilled. It wouldn't be hard for a fish shop to pass it off as Yellowfin, as I've had both side by side and it's hard to tell the difference.

Nice mac they are good fun on light gear but to compare them to lamb??? man you must eat some bad lamb. They are real good for bait though. I fish soft plastics for the macs on a baitcaster good when there a bit spooky.

I have tried it cooked a number of different ways and it was pretty average:P, to say the least, no matter how it was cooked.
When you have 8kg of it and there is 4 blokes hungry as buggery (been on the bay from 4am till 7pm), you will try anything to be able to stomach enough for a feed.::);)
