Maroochy River today

Took the boy for a quick flick this arvo,tossed round some squidgies for 1/2 an hour for 2 little cod and a couple of small GT`S nothing else round but for something that was busting up the baitfish with a lot of power couldnt get a hit from it but it sure had some size by the splashes it was making.

Where abouts in the Maroochy River were you fishing?

i no what you r on about iv been chasing them to, they where probly the bigger gts hurding up the bait fish or big tarpon as i no they r around ,i lost a monster tarpon yesterday morn at twinnys, the gts seem to be doing laps from about the mouth of twinnys down to about the end of the rock wall just past the cod hole. lots of bigeyes around to

Stack, I went down for a flick this morning, saw some huge bust ups like you said, managed some intense hits on the poppers but couldnt hook up, but they were big queenies, jagged some small ones around the kilo mark and each time id bring them in there would be another half dozen bigger ones around it. Lost one rather large flattie right at my feet.
