Daiwa freams kix 3000

Hi all,
I bought a daiwa freams kix 3000 for $240 i was wondering if anyone else has seen them retailing for this price ? or was i just accidently overcharged by the young bloke serving me. The reason i ask is because i have looked and looked online and cant find many of these reels for sale but the ones i have found on e bay have been $140 and $150 ofcourse i only found these ones after i had already bought the $240 specimen >:(

$240 is probably the going rate from your average tackle shop. I remember looking at them about 6 months ago and they were pretty close to that price. You will find some seriously great deals on ebay with reels up to half price. I ended up with a sol 3000 which came up at about $210 from ebay when the average tackle shop going rate was about $350

i own a freams kix 4000 that i bought when it first came out overseas about 1.5 yrs ago. i bought it for around 150 bucks australian but i suppose buying them in australia youd expect to pay a lot more. been a good reel so far

was checking them out at my local shop...they had them priced at $249 so what you paid appears correct

Got one myself.Had it for about a year now paid about the same price.Just started making a strange noise the other day.Time for a service i think.Ben
