Dont worry about the fresh/salt label. Im pretty sure that is just to get the different markets in the states (suckers). I use the hot pink minnow grubs on flatties no worries.

I wouldnt advise keeping it in the bag unless you want to use it again pretty soon - otherwise just chuck it. Perhaps you should look at getting some gulp alive (in the big tubs) if you want to reuse abit more often. Let me know how they go if you get some.

Cheers,

Steve

i was looking at gulp alive but thought id buy a few packets first and experiment to find my favourite plastics for each species them maybe buy some gulp alive instead of buying them and then realising they dont work that great

Fresh/salt doesn't really matter at all as stevos said. A lot of the popular sp's around are designed for fresh water.

i keep my used gulps in an old packet with some left over juice.

Dont put them back in the packet with unused gulps though.

They seem to last a second go that way. Just keep them out of the sun or away from heat.
