Any body got one?I,m looking into one at the moment a 04'model 5 speed auto and just wanting to know ball park fuel figures. When i get it i'll be converting to gas for about $1300 out of my pocket expense after the $2000 rebate i just can't seem to justify the extra $10000+ for a turbo diesel so it seem's the cheaper way out.Cheers Dan........

The brother inlaws got 1 , great 4x4 ! But its a bit thusty in cruise control towing !
It uses about 16L / 100 towing a 4.1 tinny.

Towing a bigger boat they are atrocious on the fuel at anything over 90 kph. But they will tow fast if you want to and can afford it.

We recently got a 685 outsider from Brisbane to Maryborough for both tanks empty. I'd guess 330 kms for 130 odd litres?

After that we slowed back to 90 odd kph and used heaps less.

Awesome truck but - towed 3 plus tonne easily.

Acctually Spaniard i don't think that the 100 will drop much at all if any cos a good 80 series with the lot burger with 150,000 k's is still pulling the best part of 20k belive it or not.Cheers Dan.........

I drove it from Townsville to Cairns today 350 k's approx and used 42ltrs sitting on 110km hr and put the foot down when passing other cars so that's not to bad for a large v8 car.I've only got a 4.5 tinny so the fuel consumption won't go through the roof while towing either.Very smooth and very quiet and comfortable heap's better to drive than my 80 series which by the way had its fair share of problems like every car does.Dan.........

350ks for 42litres=12 Lper 100k in a v8 cruiser @ 110ks towing dont sound right to me ,
