Went to my favourite bank spot for a quick plastic flick this morn.
Was tossing a 5" newk chook,the water has dicoloured a bit from recent rain.Was there for about 20 minutes when i got a good hit and the usual head shake of a good Flathead that went 56cm.The fish was released and I headed home for a cuppa and some toast.
All said it was well worth the effort and a great way to start the day.

Well done stack, did you get him at the spot? have you encountered any jewies or jacks in that hole? I got cleaned up there a few days ago by something going a million miles an hour on 12lb braid and it didnt feel like a trevally, any thoughts?

Yeah Joe it was and i have landed a jew off the spot where it boils that went about 5kg last year.My mate got onto a few jacks a couple of years ago there.
