Mdore Flatties

Got called off for work on Monday morning so I decided to head down my favourite land based spot on the river. After about 15 mins landed my first flatty measuring 58cms. Then it went quiet for a while till the tide started to run out, but as soon as thta water started to push the fish came on the bite, hooked a nice fish measuring 68cms and 3 casts later on again, this time a much bigger fish, after a nice fight around the rocks I got her in the net, she went 74cms and had to be pushing 4kgs, she was very fat fish im presuming still full of roe. Landed a few more little fellas and a couple of Gts on the poppers. All in all good days fishing and as always all my fish were realesed unharmed.

Nice one Joe I presume it`s the same spot I love to haunt.
I got worked over by a queenfish there the other day.

Yeah Stack indeed it was, a queenie aye? Havent seem them there in a while, I got cleaned up by a few chopper tailor the other day as they decided to swallow my little poppers whole. We do need to catch up down there, I will most likely be going down for a flick on saturday morning before im off to cricket if your interested?

Went down again this morning and managed another nice flattie, this one went 71cms, as well as a nice GT.

Sanchez its the Maroochy river, up in the mid sections of the river.
ps Im a big fan of dirty sanchez the tv show...
