the rope just got ripped off and we suddenly started drifting

hate to be a smart arse, but it is not REALLY lost, because you know where it is! same as my mates Seiko watch that fell over the side, it is not really lost, I can take him to within 50' of it anytime he likes, it is just the last 50' (straight down) that has him beat.
