Does anybody out there in ausfish land own a webster twinfisher 5.2? I'm currently tossing up between getting one of these and a haines signature 542. Yes odd couple i know, but i've done some homework and this is what i came up with. I have allready organised a test run in the haines and i'm having alot of trouble even getting to have a look at a 5.2 webster, let alone have a ride in one. If you live within a couple of hours of the nsw/qld border and are heading out soon would it be a big ask to have me jump on board for 10 mins!?? Of course i'm willing to pay my way etc... I'm not usually so upfront about asking favours, but in this case time is of the essence and sometimes you just gotta ask! Cheers - Simon.

yeah thanks guys, i did actually speak to a guy from fisher boats but he wasn't very helpfull. Might've been just speaking to the wrong guy on the wrong day, who knows? i'll try em again and hopefully i'll speak to someone else who can point me in the right direction.

BrisBen.. What can i say, great minds think alike! I thought they were quite an odd couple to have narrowed it down to, and so did alot of other people. Its funny that you've actually owned both of these boats! It seems you're THE guy to talk to then. I'm really keen to know what you're thoughts on each boat is in regards to ride, sea worthiness, stability, room etc. And also why u think the move to the signature was such a good move? I have to admit i'm liking the thought of the signature more and more myself, just be great to get an insiders view on both... cheers - simon

had the same problem down here in sydney was interested in a 5.2 cuddy an you could not even look at one let alone get a test ride in one. 2 dealers within travelling distance an neither could say when they could get one even with a deposit so it must be that the factory can't supply enough ended up buying a barcrusher
