on sunday suze and i decided to go on a relaxing day on the beach for a bit of a surf and a fish.......we arived at bribie at low tide and headed up the first lagoon hoping it was empty as i couldnt have been bothered washing the car when i got home, but there was abit of water in it so we parked up high and dry on the southern side.....we at this point were the only ones there....
we went into the water and watched the staedy stream of 4wd cruise up the beach.......all stopping next to our car and setting up for the day......within 1 hour we were completely boxed in and could not even see our vehicle!!!.
the cars just kept comming, even at high tide......at one stage we counted 35 cars completely surrounding us..........

but anyway we still enjoyed the day but learnt a lesson......if we want our own bit of beach then we must go the inland track!

That was nice of them to do that Jez. How long did you have to wait before they let you out?

There were only two that we saw a couple of week ago... they've all burst now?

I should have gone up there instead... every time i go down the coast for a fish by lunch time i'm regretting it and wishing i was at Bribie instead.

I got one from BCF for $6.95... Its produced by Pacific Harbour... its not a bad map.

chief, have a bit of a look around on the dpi website they've got maps showing all the stuff in the national park.
