i have had good success with finns but if anyone new another braid for around the same price that would be good.

hey brwamnut,
i have used the super braid in 20lb on my calcutta and itss not worth it and because we both work at @m@rt you should try and get your hands on stren super braid in 20lb or 30lb its way better line cause its thin and doesnt stick itself like platypus and you get it for 28 buks cause i bought some yesterday and im presuming youre puting it on the blacksheep so probly 30lb would do hope this helps mate

I quite like spiderwire fusion on one of my baitcasters particularly. It took a fair bit of breaking it in but now its bloody nice to use and doesn't tangle up. Steer clear of fireline on baitcasters, it burys itself when your fighting a fish.

I'm a big fan of flamell PE, yeh i know its as expensive as poison but its also soft and thin, it casts really nice (comparitively better for light lures), sits well on the spool and doesn't seem to tangle so bad. Failing that tuffline is also good stuff. Basically with baitcaster make it as soft as possible, save the fireline for the spin reels (or better still leave it on the shelf). Never used superbraid but heard it has comparitively good abraision resistance for braid which has to be a bonus for jack fishing.

Jeremy ... I like the superbraid in the heavier line classes (30 & 50lb) :) .... My new favorite is the Daiwa Sensor Tournament (the orange stuff) .... Its great straight off the spool ... quite soft & a true braid (a bit expensive though) ... Nagg

Mate, if the Finns has been good to you. Why not stick with it. I use 20lb Finns on my baitcaster and I'm loving it..and you don't have to take out a personal loan to get some.
