View Full Version : Thanks everyone, just ordered a Navara

After much research, and finally finding time to get out and test drives some cars I have just ordered a dual cab Navara STX. Went for the auto deisel option. Thanks everyone for that answered my questions about manual v auto and diesel v petrol etc. Was also reading other members questions on hilux v rodeo v navara etc, all very informative.

Now I have to wait 6 weeks for delivery! Bummer, you can expect me up double island the weekend after it turns up!

Good on you. :thumbsup: I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Navara.

Gonna be a bloody long 6 weeks though :P

Congrats mate I am sure you will enjoy it. :D

If you are going to be using it beach use have you thought about rust proofing before you hit DI? If you are getting it as part of a paint protection/tinting etc deal on the car then make sure you check how long it needs to set before you hit the beach.

Getting it rust protected. Got the waxy stuff all over plus the black stuff underneath. Once I get it I will probably go over it again myself.

I hired a hilux a year back from bay 4x4 in hervey bay and i noticed they put the wax stuff everywhere, including the inside of the cab. I might end up doing the same.


The only thing i really did not like about the navara was the carpet. They should have a vinyl floor option.
