new reel

Hey guys, i just picked up a new tr2000 shimano charter special and was chasing some info.
Fishing in up to 150ft of water and mainly for spanish and trout and the usual suspects.
what pound line are you guys using and are you spooling with mono or braid?
how much are you fitting on the spool?

I ahve braid on mine 65lb. but i have had 50-100lb I only look at how thick it is
