Hi Sean
I service reels and thread line are the easiest.
If you try it ensure that you remember where all the parts go.
Every reel has little springs that are easily lost then
I service reels for Bris Nth side and Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay
Difficult to do a video as each brand of reel is different.

Best advice i can give is be as organised as you can. Put each part in a row as it comes out, make sure each washer etc goes back in the right way. Each real is different. Easiest that i own to service is the trusty old Abu 6500.
Digi camera might be helpful. Take photos as you go if you are learning. See if you have the part list from the box. Probably wouldn't start on any expensive gear that you may stuff up! But def worth having a go. the majority of reel servicing is pretty straight forward, give it a bit of a clean up.
I personally don't use grease (may be totally wrong here), but have just found that regular oiling is better than grease, as grease seems to accumulate to much dirt and grud.
