Tackle Sale Lota Saturday - Anyone go?

Did anyone go to the tackle sale that was reoported to be on last saturday the 15th?

If so, any chance of a report, prices, quality of gear etc. Or was it all cheap imported stuff?

I went to one at morayfield on saturday morning. 75% off everything. gulps, nitro jigheads, Rods, reels. Spent $100 and got a massive bag of stuff including the above and a 602 excell weapon with shimano sonora for $25. Plus heaps of fireline. One lot of braid they only charged me 22c. They really didn't know what they were doing. They forgot to scan a few items of mine including the rod.. :D:D

Umm what else did i score. berkley gulp bag, to hold all your packets. i bought about 20 including some nuc chooks. berkley fish grippers, down to $5. Dry bag for kayak. $5 hard lures, swivels etc. Was the best fishing sale i've ever been too. I think i got like $540 worth of stuff for $97. :D:D Was at the old ##### ######### building.

Mike, I poked my head into lota at about 930, quality was good, running berkley and a lot from wilsons.

Prices that I saw wern't too much different from that mart... sounds like where merrick went would have been the go.

Bah, it was advertised locally, but the flyer said only 50% off, and only what stock was there would be available. I didn't think they would have any decent stuff there. When I arrived i was surprised to see it :-*was 75% off. It was like christmas. And i'm not sure i woulda posted it on here anyway lol.... Bugger fighting you crowd for the gold..... :D

went to morayfield saleand spent about $450 ,all clothes $5 ,$135 shoes for $30 tss4 $40. The staff were so so tired they didnt care what you were paying

What was this Morayfield sale? Where was it and will their be any others?

Timmy it was @ m@?t in the old shop next to the shopping centre. It must have been old stock that they were writing off.....500m 10kg lo-stretch....$2.20,Shimano rods$7,$290 tennis racket...$5??? dont even play tennis.

i went down at 7 and it was already packed............didnt get much just afew bits and pieces but there was penty off stuff and i notices plenty of ebay lures.

well you can cut the strings out of the racket and install a replacement net bag and you have a great little hand net for when you go for a wade;D

you could probaly recycle the strings as real heavy trace material8-)
