mo tackle has them for $7.15 a pack(Freight is $10....so you'd need to buy in bulk to make it worthwhile)

Mo tackle is completly out, i ordered online and got a call, no stock left. Mossops has no stock. Chartlon no stock. BCF browns plain no stock
Everyone must be eating the stuff or we may catch fish with 3 eyes.

Purchased 3 packets at Tackle Warehouse on Sunday afternoon and they had a whole peg full. Can't imagine they sold out in a day.

As JustQ has said, Tackle Whorehouse had stacks last Friday when I was there. Couldn't bear to pay their price so I walked out empty handed.

I would have thought $10.95 is the average price around town....Can't imagine not buying something for a $1. Probably cost you more in fuel to go there!!!!

Just Q,
I didn't make a special trip, I just happen to be passing and thought I would pop in for a look (and a play with the EGRELL RODS). $10-95 is the most expensive I have seen them. $9-50 is about avg, have seen them for as low as $7-15.
Still have a couple of pkt's in reserve until the new shippment arrives.
Flick me a PM before you buy any more, I might be able to direct you to an outlet of better value.
Cheers

Just checked my receipt. The guys looked after me. Spent a packet with them since moving here. Only paid $9 and some change. I know I can probably buy a little cheaper through Mo or the other place we can not mention, but I would like to think my shop will be here in 5 years time.
If not where else am I going to see and buy all the top end gear. Like you said you were there to see the Egrell. If we stop supporting these guys then we could be left with a nation of BCF!!!!!
Also guys above have quoted up to and above $12 so maybe the price is still not too bad. Also prices are always negotiable.
No hard feelings about the fuel crack....

JustQ,
If you got 10 - 15% discount on your chooks then I can't fault that.
I do recall in the past Tack W/house doing similar for me, but then when I went in the next time expecting it and didn't get it.
Pays to be familiar with the sales guys I guess. And I should point out, always got friendly and helpful service from these guys.
Have to agree with you mate, would be a shame to not have this establishment in the market place. Call then expensive or not, they have a sensational range of everything !!
Would love to get 10 - 15 % of an Egrell, could then afford another 5 packets of Nuk Dook's !!!!!
No offence taken to the fuel crack, it was a valid point you made.
Cheers

If its nuclear chickens you’re after, I have had my suspicions about some of the chickens sold at fast food outlets for some time. Maybe if you can’t get the Gulp ones, you could give them a go, there not much more than 7” and if you turn the light off they do glow a very light green:o .

I've got some. Seeing as they are so rare, I'd be willing to part with them for the cost of an Egrell rod.:P

It really isn't the size that counts Craig ... it's what you do with it that's important.
Trying to find a rod for that Sol 2500 mate?

I just bought both 7 inch and 3 inch nuc chicken From BCF Keperra Brisbane for $7.60 each. There are a few more there ;) but be quick.

I got some at Keperra too, they didn't have 4" though.
I got the 4" at KMart Indro, KMart now seem to stocking Berkley SPs, instead of just squidgee crap things.
And Matt is right, Lime tiger is probably as good as Nuk Chook, just shows you how a catchy name can make all the difference in business.

They could be called thweezlebung and i'd still be using them... Or we could all be talking about these new baits called krog. It's the product makes the name not visa versa in my opinion.

I have to agree with Marty,, Jone's Tackle have lost my support.
Once is happenstance
Twice is co-incidence
Three times is the action of an enemy
