Fishing reports from Beachmere are saying sandies offshore from the main beach down to the mouth of Caboolture river is returning a few crabs. I'm currently sourcing new mesh for my traps and I am going to give them a go there one night soon.

Hi fellow sandcrabbers
I too am keen on chasing a few sandies, around the southern bay Islands,(ccochie, macleay) so if anybody in this neck of the woods has heard any reports lately, please pass on what you know.
Cheers

What's the method for sandies?
I know muddies but haven't had any experience of the sand/blue swimmer variety

Most people set out thier witches hat suicide dillies for sandies for a run in tide and check them every 20-30 minutes around woody point area. Pros use baited pots and check them once daily usually.
I am changing back to the underslung dilly net this season as im sick of wasting time getting the buggers out of suicide dillies.
