Jabiru Island.....query

I'm looking at heading down to jabiru island for the first time this weekend to wet a line does anyone know of a few decent spots in the area and what i could look forward to catching.

not to sure about jabiru island but if you go a bit further to paradise point along the foresore and under the two bridges it seems to fish well

Jabiru Is "used" to fish quite well on the north side......last few times I've been there it hasn't produced(Few months ago now though)

Agree with ScottyGC, Paradise Point goes ok...you should also try Coombabah (Near Turana St Boat Ramp)

Most of jabiru is. is poor fishing. Best spot is the deep drop off on the rock wall. Walk under the big bridge and follow the boardwalk out to the river.

I have fished Jabiru a number of times looking for good fish but never really found them! I agree paradise point is a lot better.

I've fished Jabaru Is a bit in a boat and caught a few reasonable flatties there. Right on the drop off about 50 feet out from the shore.
