rust removal

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of scaley rust from a fuel tank???
It has been unused for a while and has scaley rust on the inside. i can not remove the top and it has baffles.
Any help appreciated..

If it had sand in it could you get it all out?
If the answer is yes then a couple of litres of kero and a couple of handfulls of sand and shake the crap out of it. Rinse thoroughly.

Marbles.
throw some marbles in there and shake and rince well
replace your fuel filter very regularly as you will never get it all out.

What Reel Hard said. A Mate of mine is a panel beater/spray painter, he said it's hard enough to get the rust out of a Harley tank let alone a car one with bafels.
