Left Mooloolaba at 7am on "Alexander" with Pepi as skipper and Sasho, Frank(the fishing machine) and myself. Arrived on the northern banks about 8am and tried a Pearlie mark plenty of undersized Red Emperor to 53cm and baby pearlies.
Moved to some old marks looking for snapper around 10 am no snapper but boated some tuskies and moari cod.

Headed for favourite snapper mark around 11am first drift over the mark resulted in four snapper to 4kg, Second and subsequent drifts saw the four of us bag out
on snapper from 3kg to 5.5kg started to throw back good snapper.

Tried some new marks for a few tuskies, moses, and undersized pearlies.

Left northern banks at 3pm and arrived back at mouth of Mooloolaba River one hour later. Boat sat on 70kms per hour for most of the trip.

Cheers

Scoota

We were fishing with 8 ball sinkers and lines went straight down over the snapper spot but some other spots the current was about 1knot.

loophole,

Ocean Prowler 8500 custom made from marine architects design, twin suzuki 250s all top gear and fittings.

Would suit charter operator. Its for sale but the price is a hefty $150000.

Hope it doesn't sell for a while as I would like to do a few more trips.

Cheers
