No so unusual. We often see small whales (minke??) either on their own or in pairs around Potts Point at different times of the year - as well as the more common dolphins, turtles and dugongs.
Humpbacks in the bay are rare and usually chased out as they become a navigational hazard!
Hi JUJU
Went out last night too (about 8ish) to a spot 'east of Manly' - while at the ramp, s/w 3 boaties who all said there was only tiddlers out there. Anyway, i ended up with a 53 Snap and my 2 partners in crime in the other boat ended up with 4 in the 40's... Pretty quiet otherwise for the area we were in.
Take Care T
