Fished NW, Mud island, 28/7/07 5.00 - 10.00 pm Squire 1 45cm, 6 just legal, 3 under size, Sweetlip 2 just under legal, Cod 2 under size. Eclipse of moon 1 very nice.:o

I was also there and apart from one big run which lasted a while until the fish spat the hooks, and the expletives could be heard across the Bay, all I caught were undersized fish and a couple of squid.

Interesting to see how black the Bay went when the eclipse happened.

A mate headed to Dum last night and he said that after sounding around for a while, decided against staying there for a fish so headed to another spot in the bay :-X and bagged out... Biggest went 4kg ;D .

For the number of boats out there last night, I only saw 5 or so, everybody must have been ausfish members. We should have had a M&G.;D

yeah. i was at northern end. i remember seeing a half cab pull up not far from me. and there was another boat west off me. i arrived at 5.30 and left at 8.45. the half cab left about 30mins before me. was that an ausfisher.

I am always a bit cautious about fishing on the day of the full moon - have never done that well , so usually fish up to and just after for good results - cheers

Seahorse, did u have trouble starting your boat when u left to go? If so that was me next to u in the white boat, U better get that looked at, I thought i might be towing u in!

not me. when i left there was noone else there.
my motors fine. what type of boat u got? i noticed that that boat closest to me left before me and nearly ran over my lines. was that u?
